PETERBOROUGH'S top average man Niels Kristian Iversen will be riding in the Ben Fund Bonanza at Rye House on 14th March, making his debut in the event.
He said “Yes, of course it is a good idea to have this meeting, and I am very happy to be in it.
“It is a very strong field and a good way to start the season. I have ridden twice before at Rye House, for Newport in 2003 and in Stuart Robson’s Testimonial.
“I’m looking forward to the new season with Peterborough, I never really had any thoughts of riding anywhere else. Another aim for the season will be to get in the top three in the GP Qualifiers to get back in to the Grand Prix.”
Ben Fund organiser Paul Ackroyd passes his thanks this week to a group of Scunthorpe supporters who made a donation to the Fund in memory of the late Rob Woffinden. “It was a very thoughtful gesture,” he said.
Sponsorship for the Ben Fund Bonanza is now being sought, at £250 for a race or a rider, and £50 for other items. Anyone interested can follow this up by emailing -email-.
