From the north, follow the A1 southbound, then take the A19 slip road. Follow the A19 for approximately two miles, then take the A189 ‘Newcastle East’. After about six miles, Brough Park is signposted. Take the first exit onto the Fossway (A187), and the stadium is a quarter of a mile on the right.
From the south, follow the A1 northbound past Washington services. Take the left fork (A1), and the first slip road (A167), through Gateshead. Cross the Tyne Bridge, staying in the right-hand lane, onto the central motorway (A167M). After travelling through the underpass, take the first slip road, and the fourth exit from the roundabout (A193). Follow the A193 across a bridge, and across a roundabout, where the road runs between two very high walls. At the next roundabout, take the third exit, signposted for Brough Park, onto the Fossway (A187). The stadium is a quarter of a mile on the right.
